Evergreen Building Products Association

Registration Deadline: 05/23/2018

Join the EBPA for this timely discussion about the status of U.S. government negotiations and direction of trade policies that affect raw material supply, international competition, and access to international markets for U.S. building materials suppliers. These include the U.S.-Canada Softwood Lumber Agreement, “Section 232” steel and aluminum tariffs, China tariffs, NAFTA, and bilateral agreements with Japan, the U.K., and other key trade partners.

EBPA is pleased to feature Gary Stanley, Director of the Office of Materials Industries in the Industry & Analysis unit of the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA).

Mr. Stanley serves as the materials industries trade policy specialist for ITA, where he oversees an office of industry and trade specialists who provide policy input to trade negotiators and the White House. Mr. Stanley also participates in international policy discussions and trade negotiations with U.S. and foreign representatives. He will share his expertise on these issues with our audience.

This is also an opportunity to provide feedback about how these policies and others affect your business. Information shared by attendees will be included in briefing papers used by policy negotiators about issues affecting U.S. building materials.

Current and Projected Leading Markets for U.S. Building Materials
In addition to the policy update, Mr. Stanley will share findings from ITA’s 2018 “Top Markets Report for U.S. Building Materials”. This report includes trade data and projections about top international markets for a wide range of U.S. building materials.
